Hi, we’re Megan & Stephanie

A best friend production team born and raised in New York City.

A little bit about us

We met on the very first day of college and became best friends almost instantly, quickly discovering that we share many similarities (down to our birthday).

Since childhood, we have shared a deep desire to preserve memories and hold onto the small details and mementos that make each of us who we are.

It’s easy to convince ourselves that we won’t forget special moments, but our memories inevitably fade as time passes. This is why we are drawn to capturing the big, small, and in-between moments in their full capacity.

We often joke that we share a brain, which translates seamlessly into our work. While we tend to share a creative vision, we also bring our own unique perspectives to elevate and differentiate every shoot we work on.

After studying filmmaking, we decided to combine our love of cinematography and passion for visual storytelling to capture the moments that tell your story as they unfold. We do this in the way we know best: authentically, timelessly, and most importantly, in a manner that encapsulates your life’s true essence.

  • Photography has excited me for as long as I can remember. Beyond documenting memories, photography is all about self expression, learning new ways to be creative, and sharing how I see life through my eyes.

  • I have always been deeply inspired by music videos, a standout being Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘Tonight, Tonight’ video that I watched for the first time as a young child & I accredit for my love of music (and silent film).

I also have an affinity for the photography found in old advertisements. Dream shoot: a late 90s ad inspired portrait session.

  • There is a long list of movies that are important to me- but Back to the Future (Part I) has always been and always will be my favorite movie.

More about Stephanie

  • I love that photography allows you find beauty in ordinary yet beautiful things that you might otherwise overlook. In addition, memories are such a big part of who we are and through photos we can hold on to these fleeting moments in our lives and the emotions behind them.

  • My inspiration is always revolving and evolving on a day to day basis. I find that it’s often the little things that inspire me in big ways - that can a random interaction between two strangers, a visual that comes to mind when listening to a song or a feeling that just brings you happiness.

A constant source of inspiration in my life for as long as I can remember has and will always be beautiful cinematography when watching a movie. When you pause a scene and you think to yourself “wow this is beautiful”.

  • This has always been a difficult question for me, but my go to answer is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I think it deals with so many of the vulnerable themes and emotions, good and bad, that make us human.

About our style

You can’t rewind time, but you can freeze a moment.

Our approach to all of our sessions is to bring out who you are in your purest form, whether that be on your big day, a casual weekend, or anything in between. We always take the time to get to know more about you before we shoot so you can look back at your photos and feel as if your friends took them.

We’re all about spontaneity, flexibility, and encouraging you to be yourself. A key part of our creative process is collaborating with your ideas and visions while adding our personal touch.
